Iana has studied at the singer songwriter line at Kulturama in Stockholm and 2019 she participated in Idol where she was highly appreciated by the jury. She then went back to Ukraine where she kept building her already successful professional musical life.

War came and stopped her promising career in Ukraine, and Iana now resides in Sweden continuing her journey as singer and songwriter.

Iana is now working on her debut EP, scheduled for release spring 2023. She has also been picked for shortlist for Eurovision Selection.

Iana is part of the asylum residency initiated and maintained by Musikcentrum Öst under support from Stim and Postkodlotteriet, in close collaboration with SWAN (Swedish Artist Residencies Network) and Artists at Risk.
